Lord, give my a heart that beats for you. A heart for your people.
Give me a soul that longs to please you.
Bless me with ears that hear when you call.
Bless me with eyes that see you at work so that I can join in.
Bless me with hands that help and heal those in need.
Bless me with wisdom to always do whats right.
Bless me with courage to admit when I am wrong.
Bless me with bravery so that I can set out into the unknown.
Bless me with strength when I am weak.
Bless me with hope for the hopeless times.
Bless me with conviction to stand when everybody else is sitting down!
Bless me with patience to wait for your timing.
Bless me with love to love the unloveable.
Bless me with words that edify and encourage.
Bless me with generosity so that no one will be in need.
Bless me with faith enough to get me through the faithless times.
Bless me with trust so that I can share it with others.
Bless me with comfort, so that I can do the comforting.
Bless me with direction, so that I can help the lost find the way.
Bless me with sanity, for this world is insane!!
In all things bless me Father, so that I can in turn bless others. For what is given to me, is not for me, but for use by me so that others are not in need. I thank you Father for your provision, your wisdom and your love. You are my everything.

10 OF THE REASONS WHY I JOINED A CARE GROUP (not in any specific order)
1. The Bible calls on us to participate, to commune with the body of believers. See Book of Acts for several examples.
2. It's onluy two hours a week.
3. It's a chance to get to know people and their prayer needs.
4. It's a chance to share struggles, give support and receive supporT; to give and receive encouragement.
5. It's an opportunity to view issues in a new light.
6. It's a chance to learn something new.
7. It's an opportunity to be accountable for personal spiritual growth.
8. It's a way to stretch myself spiritually - we all need to exercise spiritually or we will never stay in shape or endure during hard times.
9. It's a spiritual check up - to see where I am at and where I need to be and what I need to do to get there.
10. It's a way of staying awake. We are warned in the book of Matthew and the books of Peter to be alert. Care groups keeps me focused on Father God and on my brother, Jesus Christ.

"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another... Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds." - Hebrews 10:24-25

"They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the FELLOWSHIP, to the breaking of bread and prayer." - Acts 2:42

"All teh believers were one in heart and mind." - Acts 4:32

"And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon's Colonnade." - Acts 5:12

"Show proper respect to everyone. Love the brotherhood of believers." - 1 Peter 2:17

... And remember, what happens in care group stays in care groups. So you can feel comfortable knowing what you say and share won't leave the room!!!

N - No other way to God except through Him.

R - Rabbi. Redeemer.
S - Savior. Shepherd. Sinless. Strong.Set apart from sinners.Son of God.
T - Teacher.
U - Unselfish. Unwavering.
V - Victory.
W - Way. Whole. Wise. Will come again.
X - Xtraspecial.
Y - Yoke is easy and burden is light (His).
Z - Zealous for God.

Jesus today is my Rabbi, my provider, my best friend. He is the only thing keeping me whole. What is Jesus to you today????

God is:

B- Breathtaking. Bigger than anything
C -compassionate, caring. Creator.
D - our Dad
E - enormous
F - faithful. Forgiving.
G - good. Greater than anything. God.
h - Holy.
I - impossibilities are His specialty! Invisible.
J - Just. Judge.
K - Kind. King.
L - loving.
M - Marvelous. mercy.
N - Nice.
O - Omnipresent. Omniscient. One and only.
P - Provider of all things. Peace. Perfect
Q - Quite Amazing. Quite loving. Quite perfect.
R - Righteous
S - Savior.
T - Truth
U - Understanding.
V - Victorious.
W - Wise beyond human description or understanding.
X - Xtraordinary!
Y - Yours, Mine and our Father God.
Z - Zealous (full of zeal: actively and unreservedly enthusiastic) for mankind.

God is something everyday to someone! What is He to you today???

Dear Father God,

I lie here in bed,
could be thinking about my day but I am thinking about you instead.
BEfore my feet hit the floor,
before I take one step out the door....

Before I start my day,
I want you to know it is yours.
Let's do it your way!

Before I start my chores,
even think about them dirty floors...
I want you to knew I am yours.

No decision too big, no decision too small...
i give them all to you.

Before one thing I do...
I ask you to make my life new.

I stand at the window and look up at the azure blue sky,
and at a sun so hot it could fry
an egg!
Lord I beg....
use me today.
Let me be your feet, show me the way.
Let me be your hand, so that the world may understand.
let me be your voice, offering people a heavenly choice.
Give me a heart that beats for you, and may we never part.

So as we walk the miles today,
please Father. Can we do it your way???
