By Michelle W on Jul 20, 2010 | In Vision | Send feedback »
Father, As I prepare for holidays remind me to include you in my holiday plans. In all that I say, all that I do and no matter how busy I am this summer remind me Lord the imporatnace of equating in time with you. Remind me that you are never too busy for me and I cant be too busy for you. WHen I forget to include you in my day, I am withdrawing myself from you. Lord, dont let it be so. Open doors for us to spend time together today. Immerse me in your word, bathe me in your presence. Remind me that daily I need to drink from the lviing fountain or I will soon become parched. Remind me as I pack for holidays to include room for you. REmind me to ask you what you think of our holiday plans. ANd Papa, please protect us as we travel. May we have a great holiday and may we be a blessing to someone or many someones along the way. Please recharge our batteries, refresh us, create many lasting and happy memories. May the sound of laughter and fun reverberate through our times together. May provisions be made to make this holiday possible. May your will be done on holidays and thank you Father for time with the people we love. Thank you for summer, time to relax and time with you. I love you so much Jesus! In your holiest name Jesus! Amen.
CHALLENEG: THis summer as you rush from bbq to summer parties to picnics to holidays to family reunions, dont forget God time!! He always has time for you!! God bless my friends!
THE BOULDER

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." - Jesus from Matthew 11:28-30
The invitation is out. Come.. No conditions.A simple one word invitation, come.... I was praying for a friend tonight and this verse popped into my head. THen I believe teh Lord showed me a picture... IT was of a man carrying a boulder to the cross and laying it there. He began to walk away and even though the path was uphill, the boulder followed him. He carried it back to the cross and walked away. This continued for a while and as it did I noticed two things... Each time the man was walking further and further away from the cross before he had to carry the boulder back. Second, the boulder kept getting smaller. It became a rock, then a peblle, then... until it was just a grain of dust. THen tehre was nothing to carry back to the cross. Whatever you are carrying, lay it down. ANd if it comes back, take it back to the cross. God doesnt want you to carry boulders. The burden we are called to carry is light and easy. Carry the yoke of Jesus. Lay your boulders down adn keep laying them down until it goes away to return no more. Yes, it is an uphill battle but victory is guaranteed. The Bible tells me so. God doesnt want you to break your spriitual back! God wants you spiritually healthy. God loves you! You can do this!!
A month ago I had another picture pop into my head. It showed me with both hands carrying rocks. God said to me, so when I call you how do you propose to carry what I give you?? Your hands are full. Only carry what I give you, that way you will be able to carry the stuff I call you to carry. ANd when I call, you will be in a positon to answer and move...... Hmmm.... Food for thought. Doesnt completely go with the topic, but kind fits in...
"I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME." - Philippians 4:11
God bless my friend.... Many victories in Christ. God loves you

The Old Man...
By Michelle W on Jun 18, 2010 | In Vision | Send feedback »
There was once a young man... He could not walk due to a car accident that paralyzed him from the waist down... For years and years he prayed for healing, wailing from his bedside, "Oh God, please heal me. I want to walk again." YEars passed and he became an old man.... One day, he cried out.... "Lord, I have been praying for over forty years that you would heal my legs. WHy wont you hear my prayer???"
And God answered, "Who says I havent? Have you tried to walk?"
ANd the man was mystified... Hesitantly he tried to move his toes... They moved.... He gradually swung his legs over the side of his bed and wobbily stood to his feet.... Like a baby, he took a few steps before failling.... Over the next couple of months, he worked on his walking till he could walk, run and jump...
The moral of the story... Praying is great, but must be followed with action... God does His part, do you do yours???

I AM TOO BUSY!!! WHAT CAN I DO TO INCREASE MY GOD TIME?

Here are things I do/used to do/suggested others try:
1. Get up fifteen minutes early and spend it with God - in prayer/Bible/both.
2. Keep a devotional book or a Bible by the toilet. WHen you go in there, you can read it.
3. Keep cue cards in your pocket/purse/briefcase. Read them throughout the day, when you get a chance. THis is a great way to memorize Scripture.
4. Play praise music at home and in the car.
5. Put your little one down for a nap in the afternoon, even for fifteen minutes, then read your Bible.
6. Read stories about Jesus or stories in the Bible with your little ones.
7. Become part of a caregroup, and go!
8. Turn on a cartoon for your little one, then read your BIble while they watch.
9. Pray as you clean or cook.
10. Spending time with your spouse? Pray together or/and do devotionals together.
11. Have Jesus time in the evenings as a family, you only need fifteen minutes to make it happen.
12. Pray before meals.
13. Talk to God in the car, as you jog...
14. On your lunch break, read your Bible.
Do you have any ideas? Share them with us. We would love to hear from you! How do you increase your Jesus time?

Dearest Father, I look up to the heavens far above me and am struck at the awe. You who created all these, created me and all mankind. You care what happens to us. Your eyes cry for those who have wandered away or are not in relationship with you or your SOn Jesus. Lord, my eyes tear too. I know that time is short and the devil is on the prowl, seeking whom he can devour. He has an arsenal of tools he uses to deceive your children and every day they fall for it. Lord, please forgive them. Please heal them. Please deliver them from the hell they are in. Bring them back to you. All of them.... The time is now, right now....
It is time for a journey to begin. A journey down the road to Damascus. A journey with no baggage. A journey where the old life has to be left behind. A journey you take alone, but not alone. A journey with Jesus. A journey where the person meets new friends, who can pray for them and witness tothem and speak to there needs. A joureny with friends who care, friends who can encourage one. A journey where spirtual milk is partaken and daily mannah provided. A journey with a craving for the portion that is the Word of God. A journey where growth is possible. A journey where weeding occurs to rid the person of sins and temptations and cravings not of you. A journey where the soul experiences addiction to Jesus. A journey where new habits are formed. A journey with new items on the agenda... the activiities include bible reading, meditation, soul building, church attendance and fellowship. A journey where new opportunities are offered and old ones are removed from the person in question. A journey where soil is fertile and ready for planting. A journey where seeds are planted and nourished by the hand of God himself and pruned when required. A journey where the light is bright, and darkness does not reside. A journey where no shadows exist, nothing can be hidden or covered. A journey where love is experienced in a life changing way. A journey where transformations occur, life changing transformations. A journey where wisdom starts, wisdom about God and Jesus. A journey where eternal consequences are the result. A journey where the SPirit is available in endless qunatities. A journey where the possibilities are endless and impossibilities end. A journey where life starts. A journey which involves death to self and life in Jesus. This is our prayer for your sons and daughters Papa God. Come Lord Jesus! Let the fun begin!
In your name we pray in great urgency Jesus. AMen.
